Foxhills Club and Resort

Foxhills Club & Resort sits on 400 acres of Surrey countryside, where two championship courses and a 9-hole layout share space beneath towering pines. The Bernard Hunt and Longcross courses give you two very different rounds on the same trip, while the Manor is ideal if you fancy a quicker loop or want to squeeze in extra holes around the rest of the resort.

It's not just a "golf hotel", either. Foxhills is built for mixed groups, whether you're travelling with family, planning a society weekend or trying to keep non-golfers happy while you're out on the fairways. On site you've got a 70-bedroom hotel, a full HealthSpa, four pools and a big weekly timetable of activities that runs to more than 200 sessions.

Food is easy to sort without leaving the estate. There are four dining options ranging from sit-down meals at The Fox dining rooms to a brasserie-style menu at Nineteen, the tastes of India at Lomri plus Flo's deli when you want something quick between tee times.

Location-wise, it's a very straightforward break. You're close to the M25 and M3, handy for Heathrow and Gatwick and within easy reach of London, which makes Foxhills a strong shout for a one-night escape as well as a longer weekend.

Who is this for?
Golfers wanting a multi-course resort within striking distance of London, families seeking activities alongside golf, groups mixing rounds with leisure facilities and anyone after a Surrey base that combines championship golf with spa, dining and proper downtime.

Who is it best for?
Groups and societies who want variety across three courses, families needing childcare and activities beyond golf and golfers who value a full-service resort where partners and non-golfers have plenty to do while you're on the course.

Golf Courses at Foxhills Club and Resort

The golf club is home to two of the UK’s most highly-regarded Championship golf courses – Bernard Hunt and Longcross – as well as a fabulous par-three nine-hole Manor Course and extensive practice facilities, including a short game area (The Practice Den) and covered driving range.

Bernard Hunt Course

The Bernard Hunt course was named after Foxhills' most famous professional, who won no less than 30 titles on the PGA European Tour and played in 10 Ryder Cup matches. The gently undulating fairways are banked by towering pine trees, which are particularly penal for those straying off-line. Long hitters have a distinct advantage around the Bernard Hunt, as the layout measures 6,883 yards, including exicting par-4s like the 10th and 18th, which are comfortably in excess of 400 yards and demand two powerful strikes.

Gold 6,368 yards SSS 71.7

Longcross Course

The 6,742 yard Longcross Course is an excellent example of tree-lined Surrey golf, with many of the fine holes being carved through stunning avenues and funnels of Scots Pine, beech, and silver birch. The conditioning rivals the Bernard Hunt, resulting in some of the region's most luscious fairways and greens, which are often reminiscent of Sunningdale's glorious Old Course. Good scoring will most likely require long and accurate tee shots, with cleverly placed fairway bunkers adding to the ever-present menace of the characteristic pines.

Manor Course

The nine-hole Manor Course is not your average pitch-and-putt, having hosted the prestigious PGA Junior Championships. Paul Casey cut his golfing teeth on the par-27 layout, which is perfect for sharpening the short game.

Foxhills is also home to a comprehensive practice facility, including a 1,000 sq. foot artificial putting green and an excellent driving range.

The Bernard Hunt Course has one of the most fearsome closing holes in the country, where you need to hit a huge drive to find the narrow fairway and give yourself a chance to attack the double green.

Accommodation at Foxhills Club and Resort

The 70-bedroom hotel at Foxhills delivers luxury accommodation across the estate, with rooms individually decorated and furnished to suit different needs. Whether you're here as a couple, a group or a family, the range of room types ensures you'll find something that fits. The focus is on relaxation, supported by attentive staff who understand that a golf break should feel like a proper escape, not just a place to sleep between rounds.

The recently upgraded rooms are designed with comfort in mind, offering space to unwind after a day on the Bernard Hunt or Longcross. The hotel's position within the estate means you're surrounded by forest and fairways, with the tranquillity of the countryside just outside your window. It's close enough to London for convenience but far enough to feel like you've left the city behind.

Check-in is straightforward, parking is easy and there's plenty of storage for clubs and kit. The hotel bar and lounge areas give you somewhere to gather after your round, whether you're settling the day's bets or planning tomorrow's tee times. Early breakfast options are available if you've got a morning slot booked, which matters when you're trying to fit in 36 holes or get away for a decent start time.

The hotel gives you access to everything Foxhills offers, from the HealthSpa and pools to the full weekly timetable of activities. If you're here with non-golfers or family, that breadth of facilities makes a difference. You can head out for your round knowing there's plenty happening back at the resort, which takes the pressure off trying to keep everyone entertained.

The welcoming atmosphere and attentive service make it clear that Foxhills understands what golfers need from a resort stay: quality accommodation, good food and the freedom to enjoy your break without worrying about the details. It's the kind of place where you can focus on your golf and let the hotel take care of the rest.

Food & Drink

The four dining venues give you options depending on your mood and schedule. The Fox dining rooms serve high-quality dishes in a relaxed, comfortable setting, ideal for a proper sit-down meal after your round. It's the kind of place where you can take your time, enjoy the food and settle in for the evening without feeling rushed.

The Lomri draws inspiration from the spice ports of India and creatively reinterpreted for Surrey. Anticipate complex flavours, aromatic biryanis presented at your table, slow-simmered curries infused with coconut and cardamom and tandoor dishes that are delicately charred and brimming with warmth.

Nineteen offers a brasserie-style menu with a more casual feel, perfect for groups who want good food without the formality. The menu covers the classics done well, and it's a solid choice when you're fitting dinner around other plans or just want something straightforward after a long day on the course.

Flo's deli brings an East Mediterranean flavour to the table, with grab-and-go options that work when you're fitting meals around tee times or activities. It's handy for a quick lunch between rounds or when you want to pick something up before heading out to the Manor for a twilight nine.

Leisure Facilities

Beyond the rooms and restaurants, the resort's leisure facilities are genuinely extensive. The new Pavilion houses two indoor swimming pools, spin studio, fitness studios, games room, soft play area and creche, making it easy for families to keep everyone entertained. The two outdoor pools add a seasonal option, while the HealthSpa provides treatments and therapies when you need to recover from a tough round or simply want to relax.

There's also a gym, Yoga Cabin, nine tennis courts, floodlit padel and two pickleball courts, plus conference and meeting facilities for corporate groups. With more than 200 activities a week on the timetable, available to both members and hotel guests, Foxhills ensures there's always something happening.

Conveniently located just minutes from the M25 and M3, and close to both Heathrow and Gatwick airports, the resort is also easily accessible. That accessibility matters when you're planning a quick break or a longer stay that mixes rounds with downtime.

The hotel has excellent facilities. Two of the rooms wecwe allocated were very basic and not up to standard. Old fashioned snd very hot. Like staying in your grandmothers house. You expect bettter for the price. Very disappointed especially for the non golfers. Food was average and the breakfast buffet poor. The service at the bars was slow.

booking included dinner but when we got to hotel it was £30.00 voucher per person which was only the cost of a main course in the hotel restaurant. This should be made clear to guests booking as other golf bookings I have previously had at hotels 3 course dinner was inclusive.
