Harrogate Golf Club sits on the edge of the handsome market town of Harrogate in North Yorkshire, just east of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Founded in 1892, it's an old-school venue and it's not trading on nostalgia either, the club regularly hosts National Championships and Yorkshire County events, which says plenty about the course's standing.
The layout was originally designed by Alister MacKenzie, best known for Augusta National and Cypress Point.
