It's also handy for golf. You're just minutes from Saadiyat Beach Golf Club, with the Louvre Abu Dhabi and the city's main sights a short drive away, so you can mix golf with a bit of culture if you fancy it.

Accommodation at Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island

Inspired by arabesque architecture, the rooms, suites and villas lean into modern luxury while keeping the practical side of an all-inclusive stay front and centre. The Ultra All Inclusive concept covers dining, drinks and a busy entertainment programme, so you can keep things simple and focus on your golf rather than logistics.

Accommodation spans standard rooms through to larger suites and multi-bedroom villas. If you're travelling as a couple, a room or junior suite is usually plenty. For families and small groups, the villas are the upgrade, giving you more space and privacy while still keeping you close to the beach, pools and restaurants. Each room comes with modern amenities, air conditioning, private balconies or terraces, and views over the gardens, pool or Arabian Gulf. Golfers will appreciate the generous storage and the convenience of having everything on site, from breakfast through to late-night drinks, without needing to leave the resort or reach for a wallet.

On the facilities side, you've got multiple pools, a private beach and family-friendly extras like the Kids Aqua Park and wave pool. That's a big win if some of the group are non-golfers, or if you're trying to keep everyone entertained after you've played. The resort works especially well for groups because everything's on site, and you can keep the non-golfers happy with the beach, pools and daily entertainment while you're out on the course.

Food-wise, you've got plenty of choice included, from buffet dining to specialist restaurants covering Turkish, Italian, Asian and seafood options, plus beach and pool bars for something quick between swims. Drinks are included as part of the Ultra All Inclusive plan, with the exact brand list depending on the bar and time of day. Do note that some venues can require reservations at peak times, so it's worth planning ahead once you arrive.

The spa is a standout, offering a traditional Turkish hammam, sauna, steam rooms and a full menu of treatments ranging from deep-tissue massage to aromatherapy and facials. After a morning round, the hammam ritual, a proper soak and a sports massage will leave you ready for another 18.

For groups and events, the resort also has an 822 square metre ballroom that can host up to 250 guests and be split into smaller spaces, handy for golf societies or corporate trips that want meetings alongside tee times.

The facilities were very poor there was nothing to do at hotel complex no evening entertainment. Service was very very poor hardly any staff spoke English. During dinner service waiters did not come round often to offer drinks with meal. Main buffet restaurant same food choices most evenings no butter portions instead a heap of butter scooped in to a bowl for everyone to help themselves was so un hygienic. Sun loungers round pool towels left on all day nobody lying on them you could not get beds even though a sign was displayed saying will be removed after 45 minutes this did not happen. Pool Bar was very badly manned they were under staffed drinks not cold enough we was also charged 100 dihram for room tax when checked out we were not told about this. When ordered drinks did not bring light snacks round I.e crisp nuts had to ask was definitely not 5 star service would not go back again
