Founded in 1905, Knowle Golf Club was originally an old racecourse, until three members of the cricket club transformed it into a 9-hole course. Then featuring a hole nearly half a mile in length, the club has continued to develop over the past 100 years to become one of the best golf clubs in Bristol, all the while maintaining its rich heritage.

Accommodation at Knowle Golf Club
Knowle Golf Club was built over 100 years ago by JH Taylor, the renowned golf architect. Originally a nine course, it was extended in 1912 to the twisting, turning golf course you see today. It is well known in the Bristol area as one of best kept courses around and one of the friendliest. It is not the longest of courses but is a typical JH Taylor designed parkland course that challenges all types of player. A worthy addition to any Golf Tour.
