Galgorm Resort

Galgorm Resort is set in 400 acres of parkland with the River Maine running through the estate, and it's only around 30 minutes from Belfast. If you want a Northern Ireland base that ticks the golf box and still feels like a proper treat when you're off the course, this one is hard to beat.

You're also perfectly placed for a big Northern Ireland itinerary. Both Belfast airports are within easy reach, and the North Antrim Coast is right there for day trips, sightseeing and, of course, a few famous tee times. You can stay on-site and play the Championship parkland at Galgorm Castle, then head north for the headline links, including Royal Portrush, host of the 148th Open Championship.

On the tournament front, Galgorm Castle Golf Club is a proven venue. It's the only parkland course in Northern Ireland to have hosted the Irish Open on the DP World Tour, and it regularly stages the Northern Ireland Open and the ISPS Handa World Invitational, a tri-sanctioned DP World Tour, LPGA Tour and Ladies European Tour event.

Who is this for? Golf groups, couples and societies who want a luxury Northern Ireland base with proper on-site facilities, and easy access to Portrush and the Causeway Coast.

Who is it best for? Golfers who like tour-proven parkland, plus anyone building a multi-course NI trip who wants to come back each night to a standout spa and strong dining.

The resort offers 125 guestrooms in the main hotel, plus a range of log cabins, cottage suites, Shepherds Huts and Residencies set throughout the grounds. Whether you're after a classic hotel room with parkland views or a private cabin tucked away in the estate, there's something to suit your group size and budget.

The rooms are spacious and well kitted out, with modern amenities and views over the parkland or river. The cottage suites and log cabins offer more privacy and space, ideal for families or groups who want their own base within the estate.
